• KYC Data (for Local Guides): Verification documents collected during onboarding, including identity and address proofs (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Driver’s License, Passport, Utility Bill, GST Certificate, etc.).
• Content Data: Videos, images, audio files, and listing descriptions you upload or that are created on your behalf.
• Derivative Data: Automatically collected data such as IP address, browser type, and access times.

3. Use of Your Information

We use your information to provide, improve, and secure your experience on VayaTribe. Specifically, we may use it to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Perform KYC verification and approve Local Guide profiles.
• Facilitate communication between Tourists and Local Guides.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the platform.
• Monitor activity, detect fraud, and ensure user safety.
• Notify you about updates and platform changes.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share it in the following circumstances:

• By Law or to Protect Rights: If required by law, court order, or government authority, or if necessary to protect users or investigate potential violations.
• User Enquiries: When a Tourist raises an enquiry, necessary contact details (name, mobile number) may be shared between the Tourist and the Local Guide.
• Third-Party Services: We may share limited data with trusted providers (e.g., storage or analytics) bound by confidentiality obligations.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data — including encryption, restricted access, and secure servers. While we strive for full protection, no system is completely impenetrable, and you share information at your own discretion.

You may review, update, or delete your personal data at any time by accessing your account settings or contacting our support team. Upon request to terminate your account, we will delete your data from active databases, except as needed to prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.
